Name: Sheldon Dyer
Position: Head of Commercial
Started with Micron21: March 2018
Sheldon heads up the commercial team at Micron21. This covers the broad areas of sales, marketing and a some of our legal/compliance requirements. His typical day can involve solution design with customers, preparing our next marketing campaign, writing tender responses/grant applications and assisting our internal teams.
What’s the best part of your role?
Speaking with our customers and helping them achieve their goals. We also work very closely with businesses in the Bayswater Business Precinct, and getting out to see them to chat about their requirements in person is great after two years of Covid.
What has been the highlight for you whilst working at Micron21?
One highlight has been winning the Maroondah Business Awards for Technology & Innovation. We have achieved many Australian firsts and it was great that the smarts and hard work of many people here at Micron21 was recognised by our local Council. It was a long and thorough process culminating in a great evening with the team.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I have school aged kids – say no more! I do enjoy catching up with friends & family on weekends or just chilling at home when a quiet moment presents itself.
