The Dell Compellent™ is the latest release from Dell EMC. As a Storage Area Network, it boasts a level of redundant, high performance storage that sets the benchmark for competing tiered storage providers.
Dell Compellent™ comes in the traditional SAN architecture.
The unit consists of a controller chassis with redundant controller, a storage array of 24 drives, and an attached shelf of an additional 24 drives, with its own logical processors and backup controller.
For the uninitiated, each of these features combine to offer elite performance.
