This guide outlines the process for increasing storage capacity on an existing volume within the Cloud Dashboard.
Please note that after extending the volume, you must also update the filesystem on the associated virtual machine (VM) within its operating system (OS). While there are many methods to perform this step, it falls outside the scope of this guide. If you're uncertain about extending the volume at the OS level, we recommend consulting your OS's support resources for further guidance.
Method:
Log into mCloud at https://mcloud.micron21.com/
Navigate to Project > Volumes > Volumes
Locate the volume you’d like to extend then select the drop-down menu on the right and select "Extend Volume"
Enter the new size of the volume, in GB, and click "Extend Volume”
You will now need to extend the file system from within the Instance itself. This step varies by OS. If unsure, refer to your OS's support resources for guidance.
