This guide details the steps required to update your VM instance’s metadata via the mCloud Dashboard

Method

1. Log into mCloud here: https://mcloud.micron21.com

2. Navigate to Project > Compute > Instances

3. Locate the Instance you’d like to assign metadata to, then select the drop-down menu on the right

4. Select "Update metadata"

5. You can assign a pre-defined metadata object by locating the applicable object on the left column “Available Metadata” and clicking + to add the object to the ‘Existing Metadata’ column. then click save.

6. To add custom metadata objects enter the tag name in the appropriate box and then click the + button

7. Enter the required custom metadata to the object on the right column then click ‘Save’
