mCloud VM power controls and options

This article details the power options for VMs you have created in your mCloud Dashboard

Method

  1. Log into mCloud at https://mcloud.micron21.com/

  2. Navigate to Project > Compute > Instances

  3. Locate the VM you wish to perform a power action on, and select the drop down menu on the right

  4. Select the action you wish to perform on the VM at the bottom of the menu

    1. Soft reboot will send a restart signal to the VM

    2. Hard reboot will power cycle the VM immediately

    3. Shut off instance will shut down the VM

  5. For a powered off Instance, you can power it on by clicking "Start Instance" on the right-hand side
